Course on Financial Markets
Liga's Course on financial markets started in 2008 and aims to introduce the financial markets' basic knowledge to FEA's students. It takes place every fall semester, once a week, with classes' length of one and a half hour. Lectures are ministered by financial markets professionals who propitiate a closer approach to the analysts view.
To join our team, FEA's students must take a test which has 30 questions divided into three topics: Macroeconomics, Financial Mathematics and current affairs. Every year about 250 students take the test which happens in spring semester's last days. Nevertheless, only the 50 highest grades are selected.
The main subjects are: Equity Market, Valuation, Technical Analysis, Risk Management, Fixed Income, Portfolio Management, Derivative Market and Private Equity.
A test is given to assess student's apprehension on the classes taken, and those approved acquire a certification.
